LC will construct a frozen storage facility for NewCold in Flen worth SEK 360 million

Logistic Contractor has signed an agreement with NewCold Sweden AB to build their new high-tech frozen storage facility for food products in Flen, Sweden. The facility will have a gross floor area of 16,500 sqm and will include both high-bay and low-bay storage with ceiling heights of 41 and 19 meters, respectively. An advanced automated pallet and handling system will ensure that NewCold’s high standards for efficient operations are met. The assignment also includes the construction of a three-storey office building, as well as a technical facility housing the refrigeration plant, transformer room, and other installations. The order value amounts to approximately SEK 360 million.

The project will commence immediately, and the facility is scheduled for handover to NewCold in November 2026
