When the fashion company Nelly decided to build a new warehouse in Borås, Sweden, Logistic Contractor was commissioned to develop and construct it. Significant emphasis has been placed on designing the 38,000 square meter facility to create efficient flows for all the packages leaving Nelly every day. Among other things, an automated robot warehouse has been installed. Every day, a large number of pink bags containing clothes, shoes, and accessories are shipped to recipients in both Sweden and the rest of the Nordic region.
The building is certified according to Miljöbyggnad, Silver level. As an energy-saving measure, mineral wool is used as insulation in the walls, making them particularly tight. The roof is prepared for a future installation of solar panels.
