In 2023, LC signed an agreement with the wholesale company Ahlsell, which involves the expansion of Ahlsell’s existing logistics center in Hallsberg, Sweden, already one of the largest in Europe. LC has been commissioned with constructing two buildings with offices and warehouses totaling 42,000 square meters, and a cold storage of 15,000 square meters. The entire site covers 284,000 square meters, with nearly 20,000 square meters prepared for truck parking and parking spaces. In addition, the natural surroundings include green areas and stormwater ponds.
The buildings will be certified according to Breeam Excellent, meeting high standards for energy use, material selection, and indoor climate.
The groundbreaking took place in August 2023, and handover is planned for the fall of 2024.
