In 2022, the textile chain and e-commerce company Hemtex decided to invest in a new building to accommodate headquarters and a logistics center under the same roof. The city of Borås in Sweden was chosen for the establishment, and here, LC has erected a facility totaling 26,000 square meters, including a mezzanine floor, of which 1,600 square meters constitute the office space. The client is the Norwegian developer and property owner Fabritius Gruppen. A state-of-the-art automation solution has been installed for efficient warehouse flow. The building is prepared for solar panels and certified according to the Miljöbyggnad, silver level.
In March 2023, Hemtex moved into its new premises, and just nine months later, LC was commissioned to more than double the area. An extension of 32,000 square meters will provide additional space for storage and offices. The assignment also includes a new loading yard. By the beginning of 2025, the expanded section will be ready for occupancy.
