In Rosersberg, north of Stockholm, LC has built a large central warehouse and offices for the grocery chain Lidl. The original building of 45,000 square meters was erected in 2013. A few years later, additional space was needed, and LC was tasked with an extension of 13,000 square meters. The central warehouse supplies a significant portion of Lidl’s stores in Sweden with goods. The facility is equipped with loading docks for inbound deliveries along one side and outbound deliveries on the other, ensuring an efficient flow inside the premises.
The facility includes both refrigerated and frozen storage, as well as areas for other goods, including a temperature-controlled section for storing fruits and vegetables. The excess heat from the refrigeration and freezing systems contributes to heating other parts of the building.
