In 2021, LC acquired 133,000 square meters of land in an industrial area just outside Enköping, Sweden. Here, LC has developed and built a logistics facility of approximately 80,000 square meters for Genesta Property Nordic.
The building is constructed to achieve certification according to Breeam Excellent, and sustainability has been a central focus in many aspects of the project. Solar panels have been installed on the roof, an outdoor gym is available in the yard, and measures have been taken to preserve the biological diversity around the building. Another step to reduce the building’s climate impact has been the use of recycled concrete plinths in the construction.
